How do your padlocks work?

We have a variety of options for our padlocks. Our padlocks use biometric fingerprint recognition, passcodes and/or Bluetooth to unlock—no key needed. Just touch the sensor, use an app or enter your code, and the lock opens in under a second. Different padlocks use different functions.

Do I need an app or Wi-Fi to use the locks?

Some of our locks are completely standalone. You don’t need an app, phone, Bluetooth, or Wi-Fi to use them. Just program your fingerprint or passcode directly on the lock. Having said that, some have multiple options such as the IronGard 5 Padlock, which opens 5 different ways.  Fingerprint, RFID Card, Passcode, Bluetooth and Back-Up Key. It also links to an app that can add extra users, open via Bluetooth or create temporary access codes when needed.

How many fingerprints or unlocking codes can I store?

Our models vary in how many unlocking codes or unique fingerprints can be stored. Most have multiple options so you can share access with trusted people—family, teammates, or staff.

Can I override the passcode or fingerprint?

Some padlocks have multiple options, including a spare key or an app/Bluetooth option to open them. Some are fingerprint-only, but even resetting them can be done on the lock itself with a prior entered code or fingerprint.

Are the locks water-resistant or weatherproof?

This depends on which model you choose as they are designed for different applications. Have a look at the individual locks and check the IP rating. Most of our locks are designed for both indoor and light outdoor use.

What’s the battery life and how do I recharge it?

Some locks are rechargeable via a USB option. Others require a battery input. They have long standby times and will have some way of telling you when the battery is running low. Some models also have a back-up key.

Are the locks suitable for outdoor sheds or garages?

Yes, many customers use our padlocks for sheds, garages, gates, toolboxes, trailers and all sorts of outdoor applications.

Will they work for luggage, lockers, or toolboxes?

Absolutely. Our padlocks are popular for gym lockers, suitcases, backpacks, toolboxes, and bike chains. Just check the shackle size to make sure it fits your needs.

Setup & Usage

How do I set up my fingerprint or passcode?

They all have different methods but are all nice and simple. Follow the step-by-step guide included with your lock and reach out if you have any questions. For most models it takes less than a minute to register your fingerprint or passcode.

Can multiple people use the same lock?

Yes! You can add multiple codes or fingerprints, so multiple users can unlock the same padlock without needing to share a code or key.

What happens if the battery dies while it’s locked?

If the battery runs out, don’t worry—the lock stays securely locked until you recharge it. Just plug it in with the USB cable or change the battery, and unlock as normal once charged. A small battery pack like you would use to charge a phone can be used if you miss the low battery alert or put it off for too long. Alternatively, connecting using an extension cord is also possible. Some models have a back-up key as well.

Is it easy to reset or delete stored fingerprints?

Yes, you can reset or clear fingerprints and codes easily. Instructions are included, and we’re always happy to help if you get stuck.

Do I need any tools to install it?

No tools are needed for set up. For some models, a screwdriver is required when replacing batteries.

How long does delivery take?

Orders are shipped from within Australia, so generally take less than 10 days to arrive. This can be changed by factors out of our control at times, but we endeavour to get your purchase to you as soon as possible.

Can I track my order?

Yes! As soon as your order ships, we’ll send you a tracking link via email so you can follow it all the way to your door.

Returns, Warranty & Support

What’s your return policy?

We offer a 30-day satisfaction guarantee. If you're not happy with your lock, just contact us for a return or exchange. The item, including the box, must be in original, resalable condition.

Do the locks come with a warranty?

Yes! All our padlocks come with a 1-year limited warranty covering defects in materials and workmanship.

What if my lock arrives damaged or faulty?

We’ve got you covered. Just email us with a photo or video if it shows the issue, and your order number and we’ll arrange a replacement straight away.

How do I request a refund or replacement?
